2016 CWA RESULTS
The 2016 Cape Wine Auction was once again spread over two incredible events. First up on the Friday evening was the ‘Barrel Tasting and Auction’, hosted by American Express, which took place at the picturesque Constantia Glen. This year, the main Auction Event was held at the breathtaking Klein Constantia Estate.

The Touch Warwick Debut Lot
The first ever bottle of Touch Warwick Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 presented in a designer velvet lined wooden box, signed and presented personally to the winning bidder. A luxury winelands golf tour for ten people, including accommodation, accompanied by Mike & Touch.

One week for eight guests at Villa Montefino in Portofino Italy. Including a private chef and staff, poolside Italian wine Sommelier course, boat trips to San Fruttuoso and picturesque Cinque Terre villages.

An amazing five nights stay for four couples at the 18th century Chateau De Vezins in France. A planning dinner at Paul Cluver Wines prepared by South Africa’s top Chef Luke Dale Roberts. The dinner will be paired with Paul Cluver Seven Flags & Domaine Jacques Prieur.

The Iconic Ouwingerdreeks Lot
One set of six bottles of the Eben Sadie’s iconic Ouwingerdreeks in a designer wooden box. One original poster of the six labels created by South Africa’s most noteworthy artist William Kentridge. Signed by Kentridge and Sadie. All bottles and prints signed by William Kentridge and Eben Sadie.

A Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons two-star Michelin dining experience curated by the sommeliers including a selection of vintage Vilafonte. Priority access to the Vilafonté membership allocation list.
