Barrel Lot #1 - Glenelly Estate Reserve Essentia 2010.
A wine born from passion and heritage! The Glenelly Estate Reserve Essentia 2010 is no ordinary bottle. Sourced from the best vineyards on the Simonsberg slopes, this masterpiece has been aged to perfection, revealing unmatched depth and concentration of tannins.
Awarded 96 points by Tim Atkin, who praised it as a “ripe, textured, seamless wine of great quality, with scented new wood, filigree tannins, and layers of leafy dark berry fruit.”

Barrel Lot #2 - Ken Forrester Three Halves 2021.
Crafted by the legendary Ken Forrester Wines, Three Halves 2021 is a tribute to the Cape’s Mediterranean climate. A blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Syrah, this wine offers a perfect balance of power, elegance, and spice. This wine is available for auction at the Cape Wine Auction 2025, and every bid supports education in the Cape Winelands.

Barrel Lot #3 - Kleine Zalze Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2020.
Bid on a wine that defines elegance! The Kleine Zalze Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 offers bold layers of opulent dark fruit, tobacco, and herbal notes. With refreshing acidity and a lingering, sleek finish, this Stellenbosch gem is one for the ages.

Barrel Lot #4 - Rupert & Rothschild Baron Edmond 2021.
The Rupert & Rothschild Baron Edmond 2021 is a Bordeaux-style blend full of depth and complexity. Aged in French oak for 18 months, it delivers black cherry, cassis, and polished tannin notes. A wine to age, cherish and enjoy for years to come.

Barrel Lot #5 - De Wetshof Chardonnay 2024.
From South Africa’s pioneering House of Chardonnay in Robertson, this lot offers a superlative example of Chardonnay expressing the unique site-specific characteristics of De Wetshof’s limestone-rich soils.
The wine is selected from a distinctive vineyard offering the classic complexity and multi-layered nuance of Chardonnay, for which this Estate is world-renowned.
Barrel Lot #6 - Graham Beck Ultra Brut 2017 - Dosage Zero – Brut Nature.
Since 1983, Graham Beck has stood as a family-owned leader in Cap Classique production, dedicated to pursuing the perfect bubble. Nestled in the Robertson Valley, the estate boasts a terroir akin to France’s Champagne region, characterised by limestone-rich soils and abundant African sunshine.
Graham Beck’s award-winning, vegan-friendly méthode traditionnelle sparkling wines have been chosen for celebratory toasts by luminaries, including Mandela and Obama and consistently rank alongside the world’s finest.
As a WWF Conservation Champion, the House of Graham Beck fervently supports environmental conservation and community welfare, embodying a nature-led philosophy.
The Graham Beck Ultra Brut, a rare gem, is made with no sugar added to the dosage, allowing the Cap Classique’s exceptional intrinsic qualities and limestone terroir to shine through, revealing rich, complex notes of lemon zest and brioche. Aged for five years plus on its lees, this masterful style of wine can only be crafted in exceptional vintages and from only the highest quality cuvée juice, offering a refined palate that is a pure and true reflection of its building blocks.
With a viridescent hue, this Cap Classique opens with a lively bouquet of lemon zest and brioche notes. The rich, complex palate is perfectly balanced by fresh acidity and an exceptionally refined mousse – a benchmark of the 2017 vintage.

Barrel lot #7 - Springfield Estate Méthode Ancienne Cabernet Sauvignon 2016.
Established on a rock-infested outcrop, these old Cabernet Sauvignon vines consistently produce fine wine. Bearing only a few barrels of premium Cabernet a year, this wine is aged for two years in new French oaks, and a further four years in the bottles before its release.
This wine is made in the traditional method using natural yeast and is unfiltered & unfined. Decanting is recommended.

Handpicked by Cellarmaster Luke O’Cuinneagain, this Vergelegen Cabernet Sauvignon barrel captures the unique terroir’s essence.

Barrel Lot #9 - Paul Clüver Pinot Noir 2021.
Paul Clüver Family Wines presents a 2021 Pinot Noir, handpicked and aged carelessly, to support education in the Cape Winelands.


Barrel Lot #10 - La Motte Pierneef Syrah Viognier 2020.
La Motte Private Cellar presents this premium Syrah Viognier blend, reflecting the noble art of winemaking and the craftsmanship of its vinicultural masters.

Barrel Lot #11 - Cederberg Five Generations Cabernet Sauvignon 2023.
Be part of history with Cederberg Wines Five Generations Cabernet Sauvignon 2023. Only 300 bottles were crafted from a single, exceptional barrel from the oldest Cabernet block in the Cederberg.

Barrel Lot #12 - De Grendel Rubaiyat 2020.
The De Grendel Rubaiyat 2020, named after Omar Khayyam’s timeless collection of Persian love poems cherished by the late Sir David Graaff, is a blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Petit Verdot, 3% Merlot, and 2% Cabernet Franc.
Barrel lot #13 - Colmant Chardonnay 2017.
A special release was produced for the Cape Wine Auction 2025. This 2017 vintage is the first ever labelled vintage from the House of Colmant. Colmant has a proud tradition of Non-Vintage Cap Classique.
Barrel lot #14 - Creation Wines Emma's Pinot Noir 2023.
From Creation Wines on the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge comes Emma’s Pinot Noir 2023, a site-expressive wine made by cellarmaster JC Martin in collaboration with his daughter.
